The paintwork on the window is important in that there is a choice of finishes. The water-based acrylic paints, expertly used by Fabbro Serramenti, guarantee a quality at least 5 times superior to traditional paint that is of very limited life and requires onerous periods of maintenance.

The painting cycle comprises:
- High pressure immersion in UV resistant high penetration preservatives against woodworm, mould and fungus that are able to maintain the original colours over time
- Immersion in a very liquid water-based primer that is absorbed by the wood fibres to create an anchorage for subsequent coats of paint
- All-over robot Finishing with two spray-coats of thixotropic water-based acrylic paint that maintains its elasticity unchanged with time, adapting itself to dimensional changes in the wood without cracking
- Lacquering with various types of colour and finish to the customer’s choice
