For over 70 years Fabbro Serramenti has been producing doors, windows and other solutions such as thermal insulated counterframes: high-quality products designed to meet every type of need and realized with great attention to materials and manufacturing techniques.

Thermal insulated counterframes connect windows with walls and perform at the same time an important function of thermal and acoustic insulation. Although their presence isn’t mandatory, these elements play an important role, because they avoid any possible temperature change between the inside and the outside of the house and the formation of mould and humidity.

In our catalogue you can find three typologies of counterframes:

• Thermal break counterframe C1
• Counterframe Amiko for shutters installed on the thermal coat
• Conterframe Amiko + C1

The first model is the best one regarding thermal characteristics and has been specifically created with the purpose of eliminating thermal bridges on windows. The second model consists of a special system designed for shutters with hinges and corner protectors, is ideal for walls with thermal coat and can be insulated on request.

The third model combines the characteristics of the two previous models and, on request, can be insulated using EPS after the removal of spacers.
